It's locating on the cliff and rooms over looking the sea, you can hear waves hitting the rock and wind blow into the room, but could be nightmare if typhoon hits. Staff are nice and easy access to the beach of hotel next door. Nami and West cove is right next door. Can use the spa in nami, which really worth going back again and again.
Not a good choice during typhoon season, can barely sleep at night cause the sound of wave and wind. Sometime even out of electricity, water and wifi, and the room can even feel a bit shaky. So better check the weather before picking this one, and totally not during the wet season.

The only one really perfect thing in this hotel-its a view. Its really perfect. But thats all
Actually its not a hotel. No walls, no dorrs, all philipine family lives right in reception desk..... Prepare food, eat, sleep, small children play, their granma look for them-all in the reception. You can sleep right on the beach-no difference

The staff and Danny were great! We made a single suggestion while we were there and it was actioned in a heart beat! We really felt at ease here- a great escape from the business of White Beach and a very romantic place to spend the hours that comfort the sunset. If you can get over the sticky heat, you'll love it! If not, then you shouldn't go to the Philippines for a holiday!
I'm tall- so I had to watch out for the low beams. Also, there are occasional nails sticking up from the floor that would cause a bit of pain (though, you can push them back in with anything solid).

The location and views were awesome: nicely off the beaten track but not in the back of beyond.
You can hear everyone's business as the walls were made of umm, bamboo, but I'm kinda nosey so didn't mind.

The place was amazing! I had a wonderful time in Boracy thanks to the wonderful staff at Spiderhouse. They made us feel very comfortable and you almost felt like you were part of the family. I can't even begin to describe the view from our suite - it was beyond breathtaking. The walls are made completely of bamboo and it feels a bit like sleeping in a tree house but it was one of the most memorable hotels I have ever stayed in.

|f you are going to stay on Boracay and enjoy the nature - Diniwid beach is the best choise, and Spider House is the best hotel. It is easy to reach White beach (5 minutes) but Diniwid is much more private and calm. Spider House is very friendly and natural. Friendly staff, always smiling. Rhythmic sound of the waves. Crabs on the rocks. Open bungalow, but the temperature is the same 27-29 in the daytime and night. If you are searching for luxury - Shangri-la is a neigbour of Spider House, 500 meters of rock. Bamboo walls gives no too good soundproofing, you will find ubiquitous sand on the floor - but this is so romantic! You will never find the union with nature and with each other as in Spider House. My opinion is subjective, but Spider House is a really good place to stay. P.S. 5-7 minutes on tricycle to the centre. Small menu but tasty cousine.
All was good.

This is the most amazing place I've ever been. Location and staff has made this stay one I never will forget. Away from the busy Whitebeach, but it is still just a small walk away if you crave the tourist-traps and nightlife. For me the hotel bar and restaurant met all my needs. Good food, great drinks and staff as friendly and social as can be made it the perfect recreational spot away from the crowd. Boracay is Boracay. Busy and full of tourists. I am not sure I ever would go back if it wasn't for the amazing staff and great accomandation at the Spiderhouse. This island is worth a visit just for the experience of their hospitality.

Amazingly beautiful open-air room, right over the water with fantastic views. Definitely one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in while travelling. Very romantic.
They were having some trouble with the water while we were there, so use of the sink/shower was sporadic. I am not sure if this is a common problem or a one time experience. There were bugs, not so many to really put us off, but it is called Spider house for a reason, spiders on the walk to the hotel and mosquitoes at night (they provide mosquito nets though)

Location was good, great idea but poor execution
Built like a traditional hut, our room was above the kitchen/bar/sitting area with no soundproofing at all. There was no window and we could clearly see holes on the roof so in case of rain... During the night we were tortured by the mosquitos and the bed was highly not recommended for people with the slightest back problem. Room was also not very clean. Should not be equally priced as the other small hotels with amenities like airconditioning, could be an excellent idea with a bit more attention

It was an amazing location and room. All the staff were friendly and very helpful with great suggestions for things to do on the island. Food was also very nice. Great breakfasts and delicious wraps. All things considered we would be very happy to go back again next year.
We had one or two minor problems but every thing was sorted out in the end. I would have rated10/10 only there was a mix up in our room and the manager was not very helpful.
